Currently worried about my audition coming up on Saturday.

There’s always room for improvement in music.
I can tongue better on clarinet/sax. I can have better tongue-finger coordination. I can have better ascending fingerings. I can use proper chromatic fingerings 100% of the time. Day 12: What is the way you often sabotage...
I often sabotage myself by saying “I can’t do this” during solos on alto. Why? Because my forte is definitely clarinet and not saxophone. Give me a clarinet solo and I’ll love it to bits and pieces. I suck on alto, that’s that (no pun intended). Sure, I should have the same love and passion for alto as I do clarinet, but that’s just not how it works for me....
